Personal Information

Nguyen Xuan Loc is a researcher at the Center for Environmental Fluid Dynamics (CEFD), VNU University of Science, Vietnam National University Hanoi.

His research focuses on coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics, sediment transport, and shoreline evolution. His work combines numerical modelling, field observations, and remote sensing data to understand coastal processes and support sustainable coastal management.

Since joining CEFD in 2017, he has been involved in numerous national and international research projects addressing coastal erosion, sediment transport, flood forecasting, and marine environmental processes in Vietnam.

His research interests include coastal hydrodynamics, sediment transport modelling, shoreline change, coastal protection, marine renewable energy, and environmental monitoring.
